Learning to fly!

Into the distance, a ribbon of black,
Stretched to the point of no turning back.
A flight of fancy on a cloudswept field,
Standing alone my senses reeled.
A fatal attraction holding me fast,
how Can I escape this irresistible grasp?
Cant keep my eyes from the circling skies,
Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit I...

I took these mesmerizing photos en route to Delhi for my Pindari Glacier Trek.Looking down at the earth below,with the sea of clouds...with the half shining,half fading horizon...makes us realise how inconspicuous we are...in the bigger cosmic scheme of things!
