Photo WalkThrough - A Wintery Evening In Jama Masjid
Delhi in the winter is a traveller's delight. The sun sets early and the chill in the air wants you to be among people and food! One of the best places to go for a wintery walk in Delhi is the Jama Masjid area. Jama Masjid - India's largest and most popular Mosque was commissioned by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and was completed by 1658! I recently went there for a walk with my Canon SLR and thought of capturing the unique sights of Jama Masjid and the adjoining busy and bustling streets!

But one can sit and get amazed by this amazing Mughal architechtural marvel)

(After a nice walk around the Mosque, time for some 'Fried Chicken')

(...and there's delicious paneer for the vegetarians too)

(Jama Masjid's adjoining area is a haven for sweetmeats)

(An if you have decided to make a meal of it, try the Nahari or Paya in the chilly wintry evening and you will come away rejuvenated!)
