Kanika Nagpal

Kanika

Born in Mumbai, India, Kanika Nagpal employed photography as a positive agent of expression in 06. In the wake of her passion for the medium she held a month long exhibition in Mumbai that was received positively and moved on to learn the technical aspects in a private course. In 07 she was further encouraged with a 'Canon Merit Award' at the 'Exhibit A' Annual Fine Art Exhibition held by the Photographers Guild of India (PGI). This supported and re-enforced her desires to progress in this field. To sustain her consistent passion for music, Kanika covered over 58 Indian bands and artists while working as concert photographer with the music club Bluefrog in Mumbai and photographed artist portfolios for internationally recognized musicans while simultaneously working on solo projects and travelling to villages around India. Kanika can be reached at sleepymaggie@gmail.com and her website is www.sleepymaggie.com
